Larch
The larch is the only non-evergreen conifer belonging to the Italian spontaneous flora. This wood is very durable, which is why it is often used for outdoor projects. The coloration varies depending upon type of larch, usually white or red. In the past, larch was recognized for it’s healing properties, today its bark is being used to make baths to relieve rheumatism. The larch is a plant that conveys confidence and trust, as well as a sense of renewal given by its shedding of leaves during autumn and fully regaining it’s leaves in the spring.
