Chestnut


The chestnut can grow in forests up to 800m in height. The main characteristics of this wood are durability and resistance to moisture, in addition to this, chestnut wood is easy to process which makes it suitable for multiple uses, such as structural wood (beams, piles) to the realization of furniture, or production of barrel staves. Its colour variations from yellow to red, combined with a thin grain gives chestnut  a unique charm.
